As you read below, we pray, that you will not see what we have done but what God has done through us and may He get all the glory.

Local Outreach

The highlight of the year, so far, was our Valentine’s Day outreach. We used the “holiday” to remind everyone the greatest love of all comes from our Father. Before we finished setting up, a young girl approached me and asked “who is praying with people?” She wanted prayers for her newborn child who had recently been airlifted to Corpus Christi. She expressed fears and loneliness she was experiencing. As we stood with her, she rededicated her life to the Lord. She reached out the next day to say her baby had a huge turnaround, and she was giving God all the glory. 

We handed out bibles, prayed with others and served over 100 people meals. As I thought about the day it reminded me of the parable of the lost sheep. Jesus said a shepherd would leave the 99 just to find the 1. If we served 100 hotdogs just so one young mother would turn her eyes back to God then it was worth it! 

T-Minus 30 Days

We officially began the 30 day countdown of departing for Rancho Abierto, Baja Mexico for our 5 month training school! The last few months were a time of preparation. The Lord has given us many opportunities to lean into Him and grow in our faith. We are reminded when we don’t know the whole plan or understand how it will work, we can trust God to guide us and to provide. Because of your prayers and financial support we are 40% funded. Some of you asked for specific details of ministry cost for the upcoming training so we are sharing that information. We invite you to pray about investing in our family and mission to reach the uttermost parts of the earth.

While out of the country we have to continue paying for items such as camper storage/insurance, phone bills, auto/life insurance, sailboat insurance/slip fees  $2150/month. Your partnership makes it possible for us to leave the 99 and reach the 1.

~Continued growth in teaching and sharing the gospel, especially in other nations.

~Adjustment for the kids (and parents) in a new environment.

~Open hearts: as God speaks to us and as we share the gospel with others.
