May 2026 Newsletter

Greetings Friends and Family

As you read below, we pray, that you will not see what we have done but what God has done through us and may He get all the glory.

Discipleship Training School

Greeting from Rancho Abierto! We are in week 5 of Discipleship Training School. Many of you asked what DTS is and how it would help us as missionaries. We feel much more equipped to answer. To truly show God’s love to others and share the gospel, you have to know and experience the love of the Father, to offer forgiveness to all, and receive Christ’s forgiveness for yourselves. These last 4 weeks have taken us into a deeper understanding of how to live out these ideas. We could write a whole newsletter on each week and hope to share more, but for now we will share the topics.

Week 1 we unpacked how we see God as Father and what scripture says about the Father’s love for all. Week 2 we studied ways to “hear” God’s voice and how to connect with Him. Instead of just “focusing” on Jesus we imagined ourselves somewhere with Him. Walking with Jesus in the garden is very different from just thinking about him. Week 3 we shared our testimonies. It was hard, but being surrounded by people that want to love you and support you helps. Week 4 we dove into the science of the brain, how God created it and how we can change WHO we are not just WHAT we do.

We are 100% sure that this Family DTS was the right choice. There are only 2 YWAM bases that offer family only training with kid’s Foundation School. Last week Bridgeit and Joe were reciting the fruits of the Spirit and the armor of God. There are 16 families at the base (22 adults, 44 kids ages 1-17). The kids are engaging and learning from other kids and teachers in a safe, unique community environment surrounded by people who love the Lord and have been living as missionaries.

Headed to Asia

We are super excited to announce that we are headed to the Philippines for the 8 week outreach. Our team, 8 adults and 11 kids ages 2-17, is from Spain, Singapore, and Gallup, New Mexico and Texas (us)! We will be traveling to 3 different Philippine YWAM bases. We have the opportunity to provide support in children, youth and homeless ministries, orphanages, community development and disaster relief. More to come in our next newsletter as we are still in early preparation stages, but we have secured our air travel for late June.

Prayer Request

~The Lord would continue to write on our heart all we our learning during lecture phase to take with us into the nations.

~The Lord would begin preparing the hearts of people we will meet in the Philippines

~Handling the logistical preparations of international travel for our large team.

~Financial provision for the remaining costs of the 8 week outreach.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. You can click here to donate and to see specific costs for outreach. Monthly partnerships allow us to completely focus on ministry instead of continuous fundraising, however, we know that isn’t possible for everyone and we are truly blessed by any and all support.
